How to remove the paper smell of filter paper
Rinsing the filter paper will help avoid unpleasant paper smells in the coffee, while preheating your brewing equipment. The following is the specific operation:
①Put the filter cup on the sharing pot (or wide-mouth cup), fold the filter paper according to the specifications and place it in the filter cup.
②Gently pour hot water, preheat the filter cup and rinse the filter paper (pay attention to the fit between the filter cup and the filter paper)
③Pour out the filtered water.
④ If necessary, repeat the flushing step again.
⑤Start brewing your coffee.
Most filter papers should be usable after one rinse, but some may require a second time (especially if you have sensitive tastes). If the smell of paper remains after the second rinse, change your filter paper brand.
