Talk about the application function of filter paper in various fields
As an effective filter medium, filter paper has been widely used in various fields. Depending on the type of fiber that composes the filter paper, the performance and use of the filter paper are different. There are ordinary filter papers used in general occasions, glass fiber filter papers used at high temperatures, and ultra-clean polypropylene filter papers. According to whether the filter paper is impregnated, it can be divided into two categories, namely, impregnated filter paper and non-impregnated filter paper. Dipped filter paper is divided into cured filter paper and non-cured filter paper. The following mainly introduces the impregnated filter paper used in industry.
It provides an effective means to remove as many pollutant particles as possible from liquid and gas, and has a small resistance limit. It is therefore widely used. In other words, the filter must prevent the filtered system from being damaged by harmful particles while allowing enough fluid to pass through the filter to avoid cavitation in the pump, cylinder, and combustion chamber. This puts forward strict requirements on the filter material.
According to the different applications of each filter paper, its basic weight, thickness and apparent specific gravity are also different. Generally speaking, the filter paper used for diesel oil has higher precision and lower apparent specific gravity. The application of glass fiber reduces the apparent specific gravity of the filter paper. Therefore, while maintaining the same filtration accuracy as the whole wood fiber filter paper, its dirt holding capacity is greatly improved.
