1. Pu'er tea needs to avoid: strong sunlight, high temperature, high humidity
What happens when Pu'er tea is exposed to sunlight, high temperature and humidity for a long time?
Long-term exposure to the sun (bright sun will inevitably bring high temperature), the color of dried tea leaves will become lighter. The taste fades. In a humid environment, tea leaves are prone to mold. We need ideas to avoid high temperature, humidity and sunshine. A small amount of tea can be used in an airtight bag. Put the tea in an airtight bag and seal it, and then put it in a purple sand pot. If the temperature is not high or the temperature difference is not large, you can choose to open the sealed bag. As long as the temperature and humidity are moderate, the tea can be brought into contact with the air, which will help the transformation of the tea.
If it is a humid environment in the south all year round, this requires a two-layer sealed bag and then put it in the tank.
2. White tea storage
White tea and because of the simple production process, the tea taste is lighter than Pu'er tea. Therefore, more careful protection is required. If you are in a hot place, especially in the north, where there is a big temperature difference between day and night, you need to seal the bag. If it is a southern city, you need a three-layer sealed bag and put it in a purple sand jar. Once the tea leaves become damp and moldy, they can only be discarded.
3. How to store large amounts of tea
There are many tea friends who bought a few different tea leaves and wanted to store them for a while before drinking. This requires a large enough carton. Then enter the keyword in a treasure: carton inner membrane. The inner membrane is a large plastic bag. We first lay the inner film in the carton (two layers of inner film in humid areas in the south), and then use a large enough food packaging tape to cover the whole lift (without removing the bamboo shell packaging), and two layers in the humid areas in the south Packaging tape. After putting it in place, tighten the inner membrane mouth and fasten it with rubber bands. If you are not at ease, put another layer of inner film on the outside of the carton. Cover the carton and fasten it firmly. The carton is insulated from light and temperature, and the inner film and packaging belt keep the tea environment dry.
Finally, if conditions permit, different teas should be stored separately. If conditions do not permit, at least ensure that cooked tea, raw tea, sun-dried red and white tea are stored separately. If it still doesn't work, at least do not mix cooked tea and sun-dried tea, which are mixed with raw tea and white tea.
Proper storage can lead to a well-transformed tea.
