How is non-woven fabric made?
There are two main manufacturing methods for non-woven fabrics: they are either felted or bonded. Felt non-woven fabric is a thick mat non-woven fabric that will not spread or wear out by applying heat, moisture and pressure to compress the fibers by layering the sheets.

The manufacturing methods of bonded non-woven fabrics mainly include: dry method, wet method and direct spinning.
In dry-laid non-woven fabric manufacturing, the fiber web is laid in a drum, and then hot air is injected to bond the fibers together.
In wet-laid webs, the fiber web is mixed with a softening solvent, and the softening solvent releases a gel-like substance that binds the fibers together, and then the fiber web is laid out to dry.
In direct spinning, the fibers are spun onto a conveyor belt, then glue is sprayed onto the fibers and then pressure bonded. (If it is a thermoplastic fiber, no glue is needed.)
