What is non-woven fabric?

Non Woven Filter Cloth

Non-woven fabric is the simplest and oldest textile fabric. As the name implies, whether it is woven or knitted, non-woven fabrics are broadly defined as sheets or net structures bonded together by mechanically, thermally or chemically entangled fibers or filaments (and perforated films).

They are flat or clustered porous sheets made directly from individual fibers, molten plastic or plastic film. They are not made by weaving or knitting, nor do they need to convert fibers into yarn.

Generally, a certain proportion of recycled fabrics and oil-based materials are used for non-woven fabrics. The percentage of recycled fabric varies according to the strength of the material required for a particular application. In addition, some non-woven fabrics can be recycled after use if they are properly treated and facilities. For this reason, some people believe that non-woven fabrics are a more ecological fabric for certain applications, especially in areas and industries where disposable or disposable products are important, such as hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and luxury.
