1. Gloss
Consumers who have bought clothes made of nylon fabric should feel that nylon fabric has a relatively high gloss, looks brighter, and feels comfortable and slippery to the touch. The appearance of polyester fabric is relatively dull, not as shiny as nylon, and the handle is relatively rough. If you gently scrape it with your fingernails, you will see obvious marks on the polyester, but if it is nylon fabric, the marks will not be so obvious.
2. Color after burning
Some people say that the difference between nylon and polyester can be seen in the state after burning. When the nylon fabric is burned, it emits white smoke, and the residue after burning feels like pinched plastic, which is not easy to crush. When polyester is burned, the smoke is black, and the residue after burning is easily broken, just like ash.
3. Dyeing temperature
The dyeing temperature of nylon is about 100 degrees, and its high temperature resistance is not very good; while polyester fabric can be dyed at high temperature, its dyeing temperature needs to be higher than 130 degrees, and the temperature is too low to be easy to color.
Generally speaking, the two fabrics, nylon and polyester, have their own advantages and disadvantages. Which one is better depends on the actual needs. Everyone's answer is different. As synthetic fabrics, they have a wide range of applications, and have been widely used in clothing, decoration, industrial products and other industries.
